This, all of this. I suffer from Impostor Syndrome every day – in my day job, in my writing, heck, even in my volunteer work and my personal life. (Who suffers from Impostor Syndrome in their personal life? This girl!)
Scalzi is fortunate to never have experienced this pernicious syndrome, but there are still a lot of life lessons to be gleaned from this wonderful essay. If nothing else, I want to send this to every parent I know who is raising an impressionable, creative child.
